PARTICLE BOARD & ENGINEERED WOOD LIABILITY RELEASE POLICY
Furniture or structural items constructed from particle board, pressboard, MDF, or other engineered wood materials are not designed or manufactured to endure the normal stresses of handling, moving, transport vibration, or disassembly. The Company is committed to exercising reasonable care; however, due to the inherent fragility of such materials, damage may occur despite best efforts.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK
1. The Client acknowledges that:
• Furniture or items made of engineered wood are not built for relocation once assembled.
• These items lack proper structural reinforcement to withstand lifting, carrying, or vibration during transport.
• Even minor impacts, movement, or vibration may cause irreparable cracking, warping, or joint failure.
• Disassembly is not always possible without causing additional damage.
2. The Client has been informed that:
• The Company cannot guarantee the integrity of such items during handling, moving, or transportation.
• Any damage resulting from the handling of these materials will not be covered under any claim for repair, replacement, or restoration.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
The Client voluntarily releases and discharges Lyons Restores by Arrow, its employees, subcontractors, and affiliates, from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of or related to the handling, transport, or movement of the Items, including but not limited to breakage, separation, chipping, or structural failure.
AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED
The Client requests and authorizes Lyons Restores by Arrow to handle and/or transport all particle board or engineered wood items in this claim, as part of the restoration or moving process.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND SIGNATURES
The Client/Insured understood the contents of this release and accepts full responsibility for any damage that may occur to all particle board or engineered wood items listed above. I hereby waive any claim against Lyons Restores by Arrow for damage to such furniture due to the reasons outlined.
